Enigma is not Vegas exclusive? Possible world tour?

So she performed Enigma twice (or 3 times?) outside Vegas and as far as I know Vegas singers can’t perform the show outside Vegas, Britney did PoM small world tour after the residency ended.

So if Gaga’s contract allows her to perform Enigma anywhere she wants, does it mean that LG6 and Enigma will have a world tour after all during The residency period, considering its stretching to 2020!

But it may be the only dates for the US?

I’m going to sleep soon so tell me what  do you think and I’ll see tomorrow the mess lol

I think Gaga agreed to sing for software people cause it's like, additional income, besides it would promote her music to the GP and possibly have them attend her future shows.

She hasn't fulfilled the original Vegas residency contract yet, she's slated to perform at least 74 Vegas shows, so a world tour will probably not happen anytime soon.

Besides, by the time it ends, I suppose she will want something fresh to promote whatever she's promoting at that time. She's not going to stay in Vegas for 5 years like Britney Spears did.

If she goes again on tour... it better be a new concept, which includes #LG6 and a different storyline, like “The (insert #LG6 name here) Ball” :huntyga:. I don’t think she’ll do anything like that soon :messga:

This reads like shade. She stayed there for (apart from the ridiculously good money) the stability of a Residency, it allowed her to spend more time with her kids and boyfriend without making them move around. It’s kinda the perfect place for someone to perform and have a stable home life simultaneously.

Why do y’all shade her like this? Before Britney, the attraction was older stars who didn’t want to move around. People credit Celine (who admittedly did a lot for residencies), but it wasn’t until Britney did it (and was accused by the media at the time of “selling-out”, becoming a “has-been”) that it became financially viable for younger stars to perform there. Whatever you think of her, she set this Vegas trend and y’all will deal

As for Enigma, I think she’ll move on to a different project. If LG6 is coming soon then I can’t see a World Tour coming with it (unless it’s a new show), the Enigma contract doesn’t run out for quite a while

No, it’s why Gaga announced a Vegas residency after Britney. :awkney:

Britney tested the waters, proved that younger stars can have incredible success in Vegas. She made Vegas current. Gaga’s actual show is boundary pushing/innovative, as are so many things she’s done. But we cannot credit her with setting the residency trend, because she just didn’t.

It was years apart because it takes a lot of planning and presumably people were waiting for Piece Of Me to slow down (which it never did), that’s what tempted people into residency deals

I didn’t realise that copying someone a few years later counted as “trend-setting”

I think she is at a point in her life where she wants a change. She gave us 10 years. Now she wants to perform but also have work times and a place to work at without moving around too much.

She may wants a family and so on.

I think after enigma LG6 will come and it will feature another Vegas tour. Im pretty sure of that. Likely to have a even better contract. She even said that she would like to be there longer.

Im not goin to those shows because I cannot afford it and even if, its too much for me. Im okay with watching the show on the internet. however I think her next world tour could come in seven to ten years again. And I would be happy to see her again.

Only went to BTWB and it was the best show ive ever seen. But as I said, I dont see her world touring for a „loooong“ time

Maybe she will do another movie sometime- its also her dream to act more. Vegas, Acting, few performances outside vegas and family/friends is whar I think she will be focusing on right now. (and the new album late 2019, more likely 2020) Which is still much. Just not a world tour. but that ok.

Guess house of beauty (merch) is next to sell more at vegas shows. Boosting sales

Damn, I didn’t know starting Vegas 15 years into your career is young. Anyway surely Britney’s success motivated Gaga, but I believe more of this generation’s artists recently signing in on Vegas were motivated more by Gaga than Britney that’s all.

Oh don't get me wrong, I mean the Vegas residency was clearly great for her life. It's like hundreds of thousands of dollars for her on a nightly basis, she didn't need to travel, she's still in the music scene, I have nothing but respect for women who are independent and raise their children with hard-earned money they obtained on their own. Similarly, it seemed odd that Gaga would take on a Vegas residency at the peak of her career, I mean she could sell out stadiums but she chose to do theatre shows, but if it's millions of dollars for these artists by staying in one place, how is that a bad financial investment, right?

My point was that, Britney did spend too much time there. She embarked on a new era that was Glory, and it was a great album I kinda wished she gave it a full tour that would explore its artistic vision. She did Femme Fatale justice and that album was made so much more iconic because of the tour.

While I agree that Glory deserved more (at least a few more songs in the show), I think that her four year stint (with a 5th on the road) was perfect. She finally got her stability and time with her children, she seemed really happy. The only thing I’d fault is “revamping” the show before Glory was released (and then not adding many Glory tracks after), instead of doing a new residency. The show just didn’t change enough after the “revamp”
