You're always so annoying. Gaga is blatantly involved with her work. Just because you don't like it personally or its not up to whatever taste level you think you have (which is the stereotypical Robyn/Lorde/Florence type of stan mentality) has nothing to do with her actual creative integrity. Thats straight up slander. You spend so much time here flaunting your own musical preferences and making a point to convince anyone you talk to of why Gaga is lesser than whatever barely under the radar "alternative" artist you've discovered since you've became a fan of her. Pull the reigns on your own pretension please.

Not to mention all your talk of lyrical interference being important is everything that ASIB was. She collaborated with so many talented writers and creators to make ASIB as amazing as it is. And you can't even acknowledge that without being overly defensive and snarky I mean damn. If you truly believe what you say then acknowledge that she did exactly what you said she should with ASIB. Always Remember Us This Way, I'll Never Love Again, etc are all beautifully and collaboratively written pop songs.

I doubt you've been reading my posts considering i love the music Gaga makes. just because i don't like or overestimate AISB doesn't mean i don't think she's involved in her work. Again, being involved in your work is not just about writing songs. Read my post again because i either didn't explain myself clearly or you didn't understand  what i meant.

I'm sorry but i don't think anything anyone says can force me to enjoy ASIB. It's just not for me, not the movie, not the soundtrack. I don't think I said ANYTHING about her creative integrity tho. Y'all are just so easily offended.

It shouldn't even need to be a question that's debated. Gaga writes and composes, Beyonce only submits a line or two here and there and doesn't even play an instrument full-time (playing the piano in her Sandcastles video is the sole proof that she plays an instrument but I highly doubt she does it all the time or is highly skilled). Gaga was writing music all on her own in a cockroach infested apartment on the lower east side in 2006. Beyonce was living in wealthy surroundings her entire life and never suffered for her art. She's had all the means at her disposal to have a writing team and she's utilised it. She's good at delegating and interpreting and she can perform but an artist actually creates and can create things completely independently, so an artist she is not. As someone who writes songs completely on my own, I really laugh at anyone who thinks Beyonce has ultimate involvement that's comparable to Gaga's. If Beyonce was left completely to her own devices, not only would her music sound very different but we'd be lucky to get an album once every 5 years. And let's not forget that Beyonce stole songs off other artists (Resentment, If I Were A Boy, Kissin' You) and passed them off as her own, even attempting to get writing credits on covers. First rule of being an artist - never steal another artist's work and pretend you wrote it. Gaga would never.
