Actually I think 45-50% of the remaining fanbase particularly on this forum loves ARTPOP. But I think its era is when most original gaga fans really dropped off. Otherwise, I think the polls on this forum would be further in favor of The Fame and The Fame Monster. Its just the BTW/AP stans that stuck around.

You know quite honestly? I know she had some variation of a relationship with Madonna during The Fame Monster-era. Be it vague via text or what not. I have no doubt in my mind that Madonna or her camp had listened to some of Born This Way during its conception. I personally believe Madonna purposely wanted to exploit the controversy knowing people would be looking for one and I think Gaga just didn't know how to play that kind of media game, to her detriment. Thats just my perspective though. Love Madonna but if you read between the lines I personally think Gaga was riding high on her ego and Madonna was a cobra waiting for her moment to bite thinking, in her mind, if Gaga was worth her salt she'd be able to bite back and own her throne, but instead everything just unraveled.

That little drama aside lol I think they recorded a lot of music for ARTPOP, half of which probably was mixed and mastered with every intention of release IF and only if ARTPOP was commercially successful which it wasn't (at least not to the extent expected of her). I don't think she could've released it commercially even if she wanted to. It would have to have been via soundcloud or something which they could still do honestly. But I just dont think she wants to taint the music with possible bad reception and I dont think she really cares much at this point anyway.

Madonna was with Lourde at the Monster Ball, I'm pretty sure they met after the show and exchange phones, it's just Gaga is white lying a lot, it's not harmful but sometimes it makes her look bad.. like the Madonna mail that her team declined that was sent.. so in some sense Gaga threw herself into the cobra's mouth..

If it was true so MJH and other "recycled/bought" songs where not there.. ARTPOP had many concepts but I guess Interscope scrapped them and gave the ok to what we have now with all the changes (like Aura).. in some sense at the end the competition was between MJH and Brooklyn Nights, if there were more songs, so maybe both would lost and we could have another song.. ARTPOP was rushed and canceled before it was out, nobody believed in her..

But see I don't think it was entirely a lie, I believe Madonna had probably heard Born This Way, I think even if she didn't like it she allowed Gaga to release it, only to then act like it was news to her and that she thought it was reductive. i think that was all purposeful. However, I also think it possible Gaga knew Madonna wasn't down for her and purposely liked to piss her off. I mean she referenced Justify My Love in the Fashion of His Love lyrics. Its clear Madonna was an inspiration for the album. And it seems pointed that she did not want to directly reference her in the media once the album dropped, instead only crediting Whitney and whomever else she did. I think that was on purpose. And I think she felt powerful enough to do so, only to get bitten by Madonna in the end because Madonna is Madonna. Im rambling now but essentially Gaga fought fire with fire and didn't know how to play. imo.

I believe that everything was planned by Interscope, but things went wrong, Madonna went loose in some sense to the point that she actually hurt Gaga, so yeah I'm with you on this one.

They stopped the servers and it eventually got deleted from the AppStore. I think you can still download it if you downloaded the app before, but I believe only the album player works, that's just it.

It would be cool if the app got revamped with some B-sides/unreleased content then can even promote Haus Beauty and Enigma. I would even pay a subscription for that.

But if it leaked in full I don't think she would care. Leaked music from artists leak all the time, even though they are no longer associated with it. Not asking her to promote it and do a full album cycle/tour for it. We just know that a ton of music exists and we sadly won't hear it even though we were teased about it. ARTPOP didn't get to reach it's full potential, many of us feel unfulfilled for our favourite Gaga album.

I honestly think she would care.  Think about it. 

This was supposed to be "the album". This was her magnum opus. 

During it's making, she breaks her hip. She has to push it back because of health reasons, has to rerecord the songs because someone was unhappy with them. Then during the album era she is betrayed by literally everyone close to her. 

Now most recently she had to remove DWUW from streaming services. 

While ARTPOP was one of the things that kept me from killing myself in 2013 and 2014, if it would hurt Gaga I'd never want anymore songs to leak. 

Plus we really need to get over Act II. It's never going to happen.
