She's a miserable bigot and the irony of her getting angry about being called ugly when she literally called Zayn Malik a "Sandn****r" and has gone off on countless trans women, children, Mexican immigrants, etc. etc. is hilarious, but no one should call her ugly. She hasn't "grown" at all. She's not misunderstood. She's been a violently bigoted person for her entire career and no matter how many times people invent reasons to give her a pass because they like her music, she can't help but say or do something absolutely repulsive on a near daily basis. Physical and emotional abuse in no way excuses bigotry and violence towards oppressed peoples. Every survivor who didn't go on to attack marginalized communities with vile verbal abuse is a testament to that. There's no way to try to spin this in her favor: she's not a victim.
