That said, Billie definitely gives me early Lorde vibes where Lorde was subtly shading some artists she later came to like/work with. And while I dislike pitting artists against one another and I think people go way too far with the "someone's ripping this person off" thing, I'm going to be a hypocrite and say Billie gives me strong Lorde vibes but with weaker vocals and lyrics.
