Nice to get some clarification on that, but idk it kinda rubs me the wrong way that she felt she needed to be "forgiven", it's really not that serious Gags, some people might act like their families are being burnt alive if the vid isn't released, but it's really just a vid

I think she means there was just too much on her plate. 

She couldn't fix everything herself as it was a lot for her to handle

But you've like probably been like the biggest user who's been asking, almost to the point of whinning in like 10s of status and posts all over the forums for explanation or a tweet, bla bla bla for like weeks now, she finally gives some explanation even if it's not a fully clear on and it's "who cares"? Okay then.

I'm glad she finally addressed the situation. It's so unfortunate that she couldn't depend on people in her time of need. I know she feels as if ARTPOP is off to a bad start, but I was enjoying it. I can't wait to see all of the amazing things she has planned. Love you Gaga! :monsterpaw:

Well, I guess she will rest during the next two months at least, and then comeback full (I hope) force to 'start' the ARTPOP era once again with Venus, as it was meant to be the first single since the beginning.

where are people getting that Venus was supposed to be the first single? Venus was literally recorded AFTER the release of Applause-it was one of the things she was working on when she went into mini-hiding after the release of the Applause video/Swine fest.

Here is what I'm thinking. After all, her label is still behind her....

She got rid of people that are toxic to her pathway. The people that don't really care about what she is artistically trying to portray with this album. She did work on this for the last two years, and put a lot of time and energy into it. It seems like, when she finished the album, her former manager, and other team members were only pushing for sales, and not really aligning with her vision. It also seems like a lot of her closer team members, including her former manager, weren't there when she had her surgery, and WASN'T MAKING MONEY. My opinion on the matter is, she has backed completely out of this phase of ARTPOP.  This is why we aren't hearing from her right now. Sounds like she is re-organizing and making a new strategy for the ARTPOP era. I wouldn't be surprised if she scrapped all of this, which it kind of seems like she has done. By scrapped, I mean stop promotion, videos, etc. I'm thinking its a possibility that she is going to not release the DWYW video, let the single run it's course, and then put ARTPOP on hold for a while. SHe did mention an ARTPOP part 2 a few months ago. Sounds like she could even re-distribute the album, as a re-release, with 6-8 new singles on it. Possibly even release new singles we haven't heard, that she wasn't allowed to put on this album. Just a thought. As fans, we have to remember that some of the most successful Artists of all time(Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Mariah) have all had as much scrutiny as Lady Gaga. They were all told they were finished, when they weren't. However, with their talent, and the magic they each have in them, they have all lasted, and gone through ups and downs in their careers. WHile Gaga is probably in a stressful situation, she is still talented, she still has a record label that supports her, she still has the ability to re-gain a good and dependable team, and she is still filthy rich. Plenty going for her to jumpstart her career. We just have to practice patience, and be supportive.

Gaga is a very sensitive, empathetic person (which some seem to perceive as a weakness but I think it's actually a huge strength of hers) and that often makes you want to apologize for what others see as the most trivial things. Like, deep inside you *know* you haven't done anything horrible but you're still compelled to try and take away any purely hypothetical hurt you might have caused. I have kind of the same habit irl in that I'm a person who says sorry for a lot of stuff nobody would ever dream up. I can basically apologize for even existing because I think I might've done something wrong - and I don't have self-esteem issues! But that doesn't mean the apologizing is not 100% genuine, it's quite the opposite. I identify with her very strongly on that. She's only really happy when she makes others happy, and as a result, anything she thinks might upset people has a bigger impact on her than it might on most other people. This fanbase's entitlement and generally horrible treatment of her during the past few months probably doesn't help either though...

That's true, but DJWS said that the first single was produced by a woman. Maybe she had the concept before Applause but only had the time to record it after Swinefest?

I can't say that it was all troy carter fault, but judging from last era when gaga had to move from one interview to another in only one day and based on what nicola said " It's hard to follow her since she change her clothes till 10 times/a day". I see that there's a conflict between Sales target and Gaga's personal time. Meanwhile it was Manager responsible,  we don't know his agreement with gaga every time the era is started. So... Instead of judging him, it is better to support gaga now.
