I know TIHTY was for a good cause but I'm glad that Gaga's first Oscar win was for Shallow. It was so magical.

100000% yes. There was never a real reason to be mad to begin with. It was just a mistake. He misspoke after misunderstanding something he read, and apologized immediately after. We’re all humans, we all say ignorant things we regret. Was this a bad mistake? Yes, but he had no bad intentions and owned up to his mistake, that’s all we can ask. We can’t hold grudges every time someone misspeaks. I moved on from it immediately.

I'm ashamed of all of you gays saying "no". We must remember that Sam Smith is the first gay man to ever exist let alone win an Oscar.

I want to Love and LMAO react to this.

I just read through comments and everyone is joking about the fact that he won over Gaga. In terms of that, I feel like Gaga is an honorary winner from that year because she gave a memorable iconic performance.

Sam is a queen and a loyal Stan. I doubt even he wanted to win over Gaga. He should be forgiven. Plus his last album is a TREASURE and was entirely snubbed by the Grammys. Give him love, he needs it.

That’s true, he’s a huge Gaga stan. Didn’t he used to be on Gagadaily? And I agree about his last album, I adore both of his albums.
