Anyone else disappointed by the Oscar performance?

No wonder why Gaga doesn't visit this website anymore.

I can understand people complaining about Grammy performance, but Oscar performance really? because she cut short the bridge for a split second to be able to sing the chorus?

I really wanted her to nail the high note at the bridge but she went off pitch and also her voice cracked after that :( I guess we’re used to her nailing the vocals so we can spot these things but I just feel because of that I can’t watch the performance again. It’s unfair how her biggest performance had to have this issue when she’s nailed that high note so many times before. It’s frustrating as a stan to watch.

Atleast the GP enjoyed it :(

At the end of the day I think emotion wins all over... who cares about the flaws when she delivered a superemotional performance? You can tell this wasn't just another performance, she was nervous. It was brilliant.

It's sad that you guys are attacking someone for having an opinion. Gaga's vocals are obviously legendary and this performance is better than most of her contemporaries could dream of, but it isn't her best BY FAR. Her voice sounded slightly strained, and pitchy. Ignoring that doesn't make you a better fan or supporter.

There isn't anything wrong with pointing out flaws. The world isn't black and white. You can fully love and support her and be proud of her amazing performance while also being critical. Don't blindly attack people with different opinions just so don't have to challenge your unrealistically perfect perception of her. Gaga is human and she has flaws like everyone.

I think it is probably just the combined stress of the award season climax, enigma shows, and breaking off her engagement. She did an amazing beautiful job, and I think it is a testament to her that a performance as good as that is considered below par for her. Shows how iconic she really is.

She just performed the most anticipated performance of the past year, for the first time with Bradley (televised) and is #1 on Youtube trending and we're finding something to hate on.

shame. 🤷🏼‍♂️👀 i noticed it, **** happens, it's not that bad and it just proves to people she's singing live. We're used to an insane standard from her now that's why

I wasn't disappointed at all and was very nervous and proud for her. She did me proud. :applause:

This is a unique case where emotions overtakes technicality. No matter how they failed technically, the emotion and connection they showed outshone the performance. I'm not being biased as LM, but this is a rare case.

VOLANTIS

If it had gone any worse their backup plan was to f*** on the piano while Bradley's mother and the mother of his kid watched in the front row. Be glad the performance ended with Gaga giving Bradley the "Should we just go for it either way?" look.

I think her verses were perfect though, so much better than the grammys since then she was singing so low it sounded unnatural to me even though I love that performance, I'm just not a fan of when she forces the deep formant(?)
