FentyGa 14,340 Posted February 1, 2019 Share Posted February 1, 2019 If you still haven't seen ASIB, there will be major spoilers so begone, thots ANYWAY so in the film, we know that Jackson wrote I'll Never Love Again for Ally. But, how would this make sense? The verses clarly talk about losing someone, though the chorus makes sense as a love song. Did Jackson just write a chorus, or did Ally change the verses? That song works better from Jackson's perspective. The film loves switching the roles. Heal Me also works better from Jack's perspective seeing Ally really is his cure for the whole film. (though he does not specify that he would kill himself but I think that is what he was trying to say) which means he has often intended to kill himself.
