It could end up tackifying the whole thing if that makes sense. Like how the Bowie tribute wasn't as well executed as it was supposed to be. What if that happened with The Shallow performance. It might turn into a cringe fest when Bradley is trying to be taken seriously as an actor and director. I get the impression he's trying to be more professional during this awards season.
