I honestly think Gaga is over pop music

And to be honest I can’t blame her :messga:

The state of pop music right now disgusts me to my core :fthis:

I’m curious what the opinion of those who have BEEN to both is. Because, of course the jazz concert will seem more organized and sound better; there’s barely any movement and not booming music, so the clips we are getting are clear and easy to hear.

Enigma seems like a mess since we are hearing the loud music and vocals through shitty recording devices. I think it’s hard to compare the two.

But you for sure can think it’s better!! I’m just defending Enigma, because it’s definitey not meant to be experienced through a shitty phone recording.

I think this has a lot to do with it.

You can just tell she is so much more passionate about her J&P show, thus putting more creative energy into it.

I love both tbh. Enigma is kinda messy but in a cute gaga way. The only problem I have with enigma is the fact that she can't keep up with some of the choreo anymore. They should fix that. However, I never thought I'd say this but i started saving to go see her enigma show in 2020. After last night I decided it's going to be the jazz and piano show.

I just think it's genius she has this additional Jazz & Piano engagements. Different strokes for different folks and all that. Don't forget you'll have people that love her acoustic piano music but don't want to sit through a pop show to see the 1 or 2 songs she'll do on the piano. I don't think I know any modern day artist where this set up of the two shows of different music could suit them as well her. It's so on point for her multi-talent musical abilities and it just makes sense. Combing the two into one show would be messy.

Her pop shows are great and always have been. You're never going to get a minimalist show with her. My opinion of Enigma is only based through phone recordings and perhaps it isn't anything new but it encompasses all the elements that have worked for her tours across the years and for a Vegas residency its a smart move. I also think its hard to top yourself when you've topped yourself so many times already and trying to create something that feels fresh than too similar to what you've done before.

I just can't at this sudden bandwagon and backdoored Enigma dragging :rip: and the biggest kii is that we're only 5 shows in :rip:

With Enigma, Gaga delivered an arena sized show in a 5k capacity theater. God knows people have toured with less. And looking at the setlist it's pretty clear she developed it with fans in mind and I don't think anybody is giving her credit for that. Yes some costumes are messy, but we got peak theatricalGa form 2011 and everybody is complaining. What makes me laugh the most is that people are saying it's campy as a drag lmao. I mean, hello have you been to TMB/BTWB? foh

Jazz and Piano serves as a complete and totally different purpose, that showcases her talents and vocals in a completely different way. It looks classier and more polished because that's the kind of show it is, and the audience that it's geared towards. I didn't see $10k seats on the stage at Enigma.

and I'm screaming at the "I;m only going to jazz and piano!1!1!!11111!!" comments used to drag Enigma when Enigma is literally the day before and you're the one doing yourself a disservice by choosing not to go and judging on shitty instagram videos :rip:

Sorry but peak theatricalGa from 2011 would've laughed at whoever put a show like Enigma together. It just lacks that ambition, that irony and that sense of spectacle and no-one-would-do-this quality that made us tune in for her back in the day.

Just my opinion ofc. But no, I don't think that comparison should be unchallenged. It is also just an opinion and definitely not factual :rip:

I'm sorry but Gaga has been cringer in the past. And everybody is acting as though such a show is not something she would do. What you think the show lacks aside, compared to the underwhelming mess we were expecting I don't think all the crap being thrown at Enigma is fair. The show is ambitious and has a no one would do this character quality. For Vegas. It has a huge production for a theater concert but we were never going to get a Reputation Stadium Tour sized Monster Ball at the Park MGM :rip:  and it does have moments that are classic, pure 2011 Gaga like the gay autobot, the opening and some of the speeches before the songs.

Gaga has been playing jazz, Joanne and now acting for 5 years. I don't think she can snap back to how she used to be that easily

Who was expecting an underwhelming mess? :air: I was expecting to be slayed the house down boots. And I seriously disagree with the "it's new for Vegas" shtick, has no one seen Céline's Cirque du Soleil style show? It's literally the highest grossing Vegas residency of all time :awkney: I highly recomend you seeing the trailer for that and check your opinions :smh:

Edit: Here, for everyone.

Gaga knows this show lol, everyone who knows anything about Vegas shows does. So don't tell me Enigma is some game-changing spectacle. It's just not :air:

The 2 shows are clearly meant to be totally different from each other. I really don’t understand the hatred all of you have for Enigma, when everyone else seems to love it and has gotten great reviews. Some of you will never be satisfied it seems. Just b*tchin and moaning every chance you get. Smh 🤦‍♂️
