This. It baffles me why she doesn't perform some of then when they were some of her most successful songs. Imagine if Whitney never did 'I Will Always Love You' or 'I'm Every Woman'. Ally may have been the fictional character but Gaga is the one who gave the music her heart and soul. For her not to perform the soundtrack because it's Ally's music and not hers is just a stupid reason and if Gaga has said that herself then I'll roll my eyes, because if she's using that reasoning then she shouldn't win an award for best song since it's technically Ally's and Mark Ronson shouldn't get any credit since he wasn't the fictional producer in the movie. Other than that, the ASIB pop songs kinda need the context of the movie. Otherwise it's just random and not well known. And I'm gonna say it, the ASIB pop songs cannot hold a candle to her regular pop. For the ballads, as much as I wanna see Is That Alright, she only has so much time allotted for a slower pace.
