I get some of the sentiments about BTW being "meh" but that song was so important to the LGBT community that I just can't call it the weakest single. Probably Perfect illusion. It was from her 2nd official album (considering fame monster an EP) after already establishing a madonna comparison, releases a madonna-esque kick off. This struck a chord to people on both sides. Either they appreciated a fantastic established pop formula with a fresh perspective, or they compared a fairly fresh artist to a grade-A entertainer. Born This Way is far from weak and no matter how similar it is to something already done, I will blast the **** out of that song. It makes me proud to be gay tbh. .
