JazzGa 14,654
IMO these sorts of laws are pointless virtue signaling if not accompanied by sweeping legislation to ensure QUALITY OF LIFE for the animals, during their year of existence before the moment they are slaughtered. My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <

Delulu Rogers 7,676
Laws in favour for human rights, animals rights, ethics and morals should be held above religion imo
Enigma 7,182
Good thing. Religion is not valid when it comes to laws.

Henri Bardot 3,990
Belgium has "good" killing metods. I mean, it's controlled and everything. So it makes sense they banned it. 21 minutes ago, littlepotter said: Isn't halal supposed to be like... better for the animal? sarahb 17,216
When they do this type of slaughter in Australia standard practice is that they're stunned with a reversible stun gun first (unlike standard slaughter that uses an irreversible gun). Its a shame that this doesn't seem to be the case in many other countries. Do you feel him sir?
Taide 5,789
Hope this happens in every country possible. Religion should never be on higher position than laws, nor become a part of the society. Leave those thousands of years old fairytales in to the history where they belong.
