I'm not sure Gaga singing a collection of hits, strung between a loose narrative, in garish wigs and costumes, is much of a "change" in her artistry for fans to digest. On the contrary, one of the most prominent criticism of Engima among some fans has been its lack creative evolution, its lack of "change," her rehash of old ideas.

But, as is always the case on this site, anyone with a dissenting opinion is dismissed with a rude gif or called a name. That is one thing that seems to never "change."

The critic is not that hard in my eyes honestly. People are nice to Gaga and just say what they miss a bit. I just accept the opinion people have. Y’all should too...

Threads like this are the most negative on this website in my eyes.

I recommend you my thread from earlier today:

Did anyone expect her to do a show of b-sides in LAS VEGAS?

If anything, I'd actually want her to do less album cuts. Who wants to hear The Fame or Aura?

One of my critiques is the lack of Venus. I think everybody wanted Venus on that setlist. And now after seeing what the show looks like, Venus REALLY would've been perfect. If it's for a lack of new music that people are complaining, that's ridiculous. Also I think people aren't huge on the weird weeaboo realness that is that double ponytail wig and people maybe expected more Gaga visuals and imagery OF her. Like personally I don't know that I'm that into the backdrops. They're very Microsoft 2006 media player visualizer. It just didn't fully deliver the drama that coachella visuals did. But it completely TOPPED JWT (which had iconic interludes) and even coachella in terms of delivering COSTUME and the most sickening stage props and sis was flying and it was great. It's for me a 4/5 stars right now and hope my critique comes from a constructive place. I've been a fan since the very beginning and have gone to multiple shows since the BTWB so these are just some observations. It was better than many of her other shows in some ways, but also just has some weaker notes as well. I don't see the need to tear the show apart.

Now let's just add Venus to the setlist and and the world will be good again.

Thank you! It’s really not representative for the whole fanbase!

Well, in my opinion it's only natural and even desirable for her fans to be more critical than some casual nobody who was paid to go see the show and review it  We're the ones who are most familiar with her work and more capable of deciding whether or not she delivered the goods based on her previous track record.

Where is the change in a show that gives us the same songs that we've been having for 5+ years in no refreshing way whatsoever tho ?

Gaga fans shouldn’t have to worship everything she does. Negative opinions are okay. Stop trying to discredit valid opinions as not being “constructive.” It’s a tiring excuse

Being constructive and complaining about everything she does isn't the same.  This happens at the start of every new era especially on this site specifically. I personally loved the show although I do think it could use some fine tuning here and there, but I also realize not everyone is going to agree which is OK. But this whining that stems from monsters overhyping is their own fault.

I didn't say that.

I didn't see anyone else say that.

But if you want to take a line of my post out of context in order to make an obvious and popular point, go for it.

My point was about how the show itself isn't new territory for her, creatively. If I had any criticisms about the set list, I would just say remixing the songs in a way that made them relevant to the "plot" of the show, or the Las Vegas setting, would have been more compelling.
