I would too. Don’t name your child something so stupid if you don’t want it to get made fun of :triggered:

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Or we could let people do what they want and not promote bullying on an online forum dedicated to Lady Gaga? Thank you.

Okay, so, here's the thing. I think that the mom was smoking something when she named her kid that.

With that being said, that kid is completely innocent of that mess, and shouldn't be ridiculed for her mom/parents short-comings.

So make fun of the mom, sure, but don't take it out on the kid..

This kitten over here (meow)

Really ironic that this mother is demanding respect when she herself bullied her own daughter for life with this pathetic name.:icega:

No one is right in this situation. Employee was supposed to be polite and professional and he was extremely rude. Mother should be a bit smarter. Her kid will get mocked because of that name and it’s cruel reality. It shouldn’t happen but it will and we all know it. Like why the hell would you give your kid that name and make a “clown” of her? Kids are cruel and will find a way to bully her because of it.. Not to mention the situation in class when they’ll learn alphabet..

As stupid as the name is, there is a right and a wrong here.

Not only is the attendant being unprofessional and not doing her job as she should - she’s basically bullying that kid and her mom. That, by societal standard, is unacceptable. The bitch should have kept it to her group chat like any civil person.

Or we could not? I mean, this is barely anything imo, but there are legitimately ****ed up things parents are allowed to do with their kids - parents aren't beyond reproach, especially when they do dumb things...

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

I agree.  There is no excuse for anyone to make fun of anyone because of their name. There should be repercussions for the employee, especially after posting it on social media.  But I also think parents need to consider names as well. I have had students in the past named after alcoholic drinks (think like naming your child Vodka - this wasn't the child's name, but an example).
