Perry pulled in a reported $83 million pretax in 2018, a combination of touring her 2017's Witness (that’s 80 dates, averaging $1 million a night) and her role as a judge on American Idol (reportedly $20 million). The singing competition likely gave Perry an advantage, pushing her to number one.

For the Witness tour, Boxscore reported similar nightly tour earnings: $1.7 million in Connecticut, $2.6 in New York City, $1 million in Brooklyn, $750,000+ in Pittsburgh, etc.

83-20=63

her tour did 63m

which means 787,500$ per night and not 1$mil per night.

Because her tour barely sold out, so it's kinda impossible to make 1mil per night :spin:

I'm just pointing out how horribly written this paragraph..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Wow, she slayed that Forbes list during a underperforming era. :applause: American Idol came through for her.

I'm surprised that Rihanna didn't top the list. Fenty Beauty is super successful, as well as the lingerie line. Like, I would assume a really successful cosmetic line would be more financially fruitful than music right now.
