Any fans of The White Album by The Beatles?  How has it held up after 50 years?

I don't know if I'd say it's a masterpiece, but it is very good with only a few flaws to it.  Sure, it has some filler, but even the filler for the most part is quite listenable.  The only two songs I think should have really been dropped are Revolution 9 and Wild Honey Pie.  If only Hey Jude and Revolution (The Single) could have replaced those two.  I know we'd have two Revolution songs on the album in that regard, but there are two "Don't Cry" songs on the Use Your Illusion double album by Guns N' Roses.  Anyways, there are plenty of classic songs by the members of the group here and the mix of genres makes the album a fun listen.  I'd probably have it in the top three Beatles albums if it's not at the top.

I'm an unapologetic defender of Revolution 9:crossed:

The best track on this album.
