shouldnt have moved the intern's hand in any way. he asked a few questions and everyone else had their hand up. his turn was up. jim should have sat down and let someone else have their chance.

the next guy asked two questions and sat down peacefully even though he wanted to pose another. jim should have done the same

I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.

I don't get why more media companies don't sue him for calling them "fake news". That's a potentally damaging smear. Surely if they can prove the factuality of individual articles/reports that he has attacked, there's a case to be made?

Jim was going to lower his arm as the aide reached under it, he really didn’t have a choice. Not the mention the video that the White House put out has been revealed to be altered, which is on its own a confession of guilt

he felt the resistance of her hand and moved his hand down further. the motion was meant to keep her away from the mic. its obvious. he didnt do anything violent but it was just uncalled for. im watching the CNN version of the vid btw

If anyone puts their hand in my personal space it’s getting knocked away or worse. Acosta kept his composure. My gut reaction would’ve been far less calm and collected.

He had the mic. Whats this non sense? If the reporter was a woman and that White House staff a man, all the people would have gone crazy against that staff member. Because its a woman, now the reporter is quilty?

you can "what if" all you want. doesnt matter to me what sex the intern and the reporter are. whe your turn is up after asking two questions you cant hog the mic. other reporters want to ask questions too. it isnt jim acosta's press conference

if anyone wants to play the what if game

btw imagine its 2012 and tucker carlson is questioning obama about immigration policies saying diversity isnt right and obama tells him after his two questions to give up the mic. a female reporter comes over to take the mic to another reporter and tucker pulls the same move jim here does. everyone here would be calling him sexist and evil or violent. they would be clamoring for fox news as a whole to be banned

stay consistent

I think you're trying really hard to put one party fully at blame. Meanwhile, both parties are to blame.

However, it's also Trump administration, and it really needs to be reined in. That is why people will applore the journalist. Because he is technically, more in the right, questioning this ridiculous man in charge.

It's a technical matter of who is right or wrong, it's a moral matter.

Then let another reporter take his mic and no one would argue with that.

trump is a moron. i have no problem with the press challenging him on things he needs to be challenged on. if they insult trump and he cries about it like a child i have no sympathy for him. you get back what you put out there and trump deserves every bit of criticism he receives. however i believe that reporters shouldnt become him in the way he talks over people and makes everything about himself. that entire press core is against him and there should remain some sense of etiquette intact.

Stay consistent you. If that would happen, Obama would have tell the reporter that he answered his questions and to give the mic to another reporter. Then probably another reporter will want to take the mic, so that Fox reporter will be preassured by the room to give the mic by himself. But what happens when the room is with the reporter?

But this has never happened during the Obama years for a reason. Its funny that you want to play the What if game, when you are so against it earlier. :ladyhaha:
