Is this Indian actress right about her relationship?

This is Rashmika Mandana, a famous Indian actress.

She married a famous Indian actor named Vijay Devarakonda in February of this year.

They have recently released a movie in which they did the leading roles. For the promotion of the film, they have been taking part in several talkshows and podcasts.

In a recent talkshow called Koffee with Karan, an Indian talkshow that already has a reputation of being controversial, they have been asked by the host Karan Johar how their relationship started and how the proposal was? Vijay answered that when she asked him to marry her, he apparently wanted her to ask him a hundred times "will you marry me", he also wanted her to ask him every day so that he can think about it. Rashmika said she indeed complied and she asked him every day throughout the year until he said yes.

When Karan asked what's the most romantic thing he had ever done to her, Vijay answered he was so annoyed that their fanbases and media was spreading misinformation that he bought her a small ring for engagement, then he picked her hand and proudly flaunted the rings that he had bought for her to the camera, clearing the misconception that he was petty to buy a smaller ring. 

Many people found their entire interaction cringey, especially the feminists, and Vijay was trolled for being self obsessed. Rashmika reacted by posting 9 slides in her Instagram, calling out all the people being negative to her husband, although her husband himself didn't really react much to the trolling. Let me highlight 3 of those 9 slides because she was just repeating the same thing again and again.

She also went a step further by actively pulling down the reels of Instagram content creators who criticised or roasted Vijay using her legal team, which added more fuel to the situation. 

Was she right about the situation? Are people just overreacting to their relationship and Rashmika is genuinely being happy and content? Or is she delusional and blinded by her husband? Discuss.

personally, if a man said i needed to ask 100 times to marry him, i would be asking him 100 times to move out instead
