ASIB impact in everyday life

Mirages

I'm at IKEA right now, we were eating some meatballs and all of a sudden I hear ahahha aaaahaaa ahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa (Shallow's bridge) and the people sitting at the next table saying to each other listen listen that's that song from the new Lady Gaga movie:firega:. And a lady from another table then asked the one who was talking about it what was the title of the song cause she kept hearing it on the radio and wanted to get a copy but didn't know the name or the artist and then asked how the movie was and everybody at the table proceeded to convince her to go see it and kept talking how it was the best movie of the year. The impact ASIB has :diane:

Have you experienced something similar?

Why am I on GGD

"Oh isn't that the movie about Lady Gaga's life?"

"I didn't know she was involved with that actor"

"I almost can't recognize her"

:rip:

Also one of my colleagues keeps singing the soundtrack quietly (not just Shallow), and she doesn't know I stan.

My entire office stans that movie and even my boss went to see it with his wife and kids.. He LOVED it.. His ringtone is set to 'Shallow' since forever

Other day.. I went to a bar and the group sitting on the table next to mine had just seen it before coming there..and they couldn't stop discussing about it all the time..

I don't socialise and I don't use social media but my brother told me that on his feed, there's a lot of people praising the music and the movie.

There could be 100 people in the room, and 99 don't believe in you, all it takes is for one to believe in you and your life will change.

Are you from slayden? It's already in the top 10 most grossed movies of the year here and shallow remains unbothered #1 at the charts here :sis:. I haven't really heard people talk about the movie in public, but my sister went and saw it and said the whole theater was crying in the end. My mom also talks about it and want to see it. I have also seen friends streaming Shallow and other ASIB songs and adding them to their playlists even though they usually never listens to gaga :legend:. Also i have heard people on radio talk about it alot and ofc shallows is being played alot on there.

A lot of my straight classmates are stanning for ASIB. They keep playing Shallow and INLA in class. One girl is even planning to cover the song for some college thing. All the times that i went to watch the movie, the theatres were packed. Which is rare for a non superhero movie in my city. :applause: At the end of the movie, people stayed back to listen ITA and i could hear a bunch of girls say "Gaga deserves an Oscar" :applause:

I am really shocked by how incredible well received was ASIB between my friends. Everyone praises the movie and Gaga, everyone ****ing cried at the movie. ASIB Memes everywhere. EVERYBODY IS SHOOOK AND DESTROYED BY TALENT. THIS IS WHAT SHE DESERVES.

My mom always comes home telling me about friends who have recently seen it and how much they loved it. She also texts me pictures of little ASIB ads in the newspaper. I hear Shallow when I walk past restaurants and clothing stores. Half of Australia hasn't even seen it yet because when I went for my 5th time yesterday I expected an empty theatre but there were like 50 people and most were sobbing at the end so I could tell it was their first time. Australia did crappy promo but it seems to be doing well via word-of-mouth regardless and I AM SO PROUD :huntyga:

ASIB is nonexistent in my country. No radio support for shallow, movie drawn out of major malls after a week of showing :poot: Even all the people I tried to convince to watch it who said they will never really did :emma: Tragically, a couple of my friends decided to finally see it after weeks of convincing, and the cinemas weren't showing it anymore. People will likely just pirate a torrent copy off the internet around the Ocars. And I know, it disgusts me too.

Let's be nice to each other <3
