Fun fact: she hasn't had an album be #1 for more than 1 week since Born This Way

Sad sad fact. She deserved  so much more.

Just so everyone knows, this is beating out the debut solo studio album of Quavo, the most successful member of Migos, which has multiple chart-topping songs and albums. Migos are one of streaming's most formidable forces, and Quavo's new album includes features from Drake, 21 Savage, Saweetie, Madonna, Cardi B, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Normani, Kid Cudi and fellow Migos members Takeoff and Offset. Most of all of those features have had at least one #1 album, and this album has been promoted with singles ahead of time and release parties.

Meanwhile, the soundtrack only received a promo single a week in advance of the film itself, and the film has only just been released to most of the world. Gaga did that! :tony:

As impressive as it is, let's not pretend LG6 would have done the same with one promo single and no performance.

Without the movie the Shallow MV would bomb close to 10 million with the Joanne piano version and so would Gagas song and Album in general.

The Movie promotes Gaga for full 2-3 months nearly 24/7 - no album cycle or tv show appearances would have reached that level of PR

Just imagine what the numbers would be if she had face tattoos. :poot:

I’m just so happy because the film and album are really freaking good and she deserves to be rewarded and recognized for it.
