Well good thing then that Carley is getting her hits before Gaga's new era. We have to recognize that there will always be new b---hes. Is up to Gaga if she is strong enough to not be pushed aside. It's a harsh world in the pop world.

A few months ago people were acting like I was crazy when I said Carly could be some of Gaga's biggest competition. Sure, they're on the same label, but that doesn't mean they couldn't potentially steal from the other's thunder.

I also said she was one to watch, but everyone said she was a one hit wonder. Katy Perry was basic (well still is) back when she just came out, and no one took her seriously, yet the b---h sneaked up on everyone.

Are you really surprised though?

Secretly, no.

But seeing as the general public isn't to smart I thought they would catch on to the song more. Needed more promo. F U Reloaded Tour!

It sounds awful on radio tbh. Noisy as fawkes.

Anyways, whatever else you guys can get from her album, we'll see.

Tonight I'm Getting Over You will be the first single from Carly Rae Jepsen's first major release, Kiss. It will be released this month and it is a Max Martin produced track that is VERY radio-friendly. Coming for that 3rd Top 10 Hit!

September will be an interesting month for Pop Music:

- P!nk will release her newest studio record, The Truth About Love, on September 18 and will most likely release the second single, Try, this month and possibly perform it at the VMA's along with Blow Me (One Last Kiss). I expect the record to debut at #1 (P!nks' first number one album).

- Keep an eye out for Carly Rae who also will be releasing her record on September 18. I expect a top 10 debut and possibly top 5.

- Your Body.

- X-Factor and Britney Spears collaboration with will.i.am and (if the rumors are true) Britney will either release Drop Dead (Beautiful) or a brand new song. :excited:

It's not original or special enough to be a huge chart topper, but it probably will be another sold top 10 hit.

I don't think Carly will have a huge hot streak of #1s, but I think she's be around long term (moreso than Adele and LMFAO)

I wouldn't bet against "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" being Carly's second #1 on the Hot 100. It's super radio friendly and catchy. It's also in the same dancey vein as most of what's on radio these days.
