hausofmike 127
Random question: do VH1/MTV video plays count towards the Billboard charts? Because if I'm not mistaken they do count on Mediabase. No. Taylor's video not bad. Not her best but the video fit the song and wasnt a 14 minute boring ass video. So. :troll:
CoolTrainerTerry 1,306
What a complete mockery of Jake Gyllenhaal's movie "Donnie Darko" Mocking someone else's work like that is not cool. I know the song is about Jake and I could care less but mocking his work was going too far. Exactly. It's fine if she would have made hints that it was him with the glasses/bracelet/scarf like she did. But the animals mocking Donnie Darko was just stupid. She needs to grow up. See, this? This right here is why I hate Taylor Swift. She's how old and yet acts like a preteen? Nothing is ever her fault because she's the perfect little princess and she's so mistreated by every man she ever goes out with. God, grow the **** up! And I love Jake. He's hot and a great actor and too good for her, anyway. Am I the only one that has noticed that songs that I expected to slay have performed terribly? Chasing the Sun - The Wanted. Peak #50. Pop Songs: #17. One Thing - One Direction. Peak: #39. Pop Songs: #15. Hello - Karmin. Peak: #103. Pop Songs: #25. I was rooting for those songs to do well because I like them and they are all better than all of their previous singles. It's funny because radio seems to be here for them, since they achieved relatively high positions on Pop Radio, but the public wasn't buying the singles. Interesting. But, Hello just started. Klou 2,414
Taylor doesn't care about her love life as much as she makes people believe. She banks off her relationships and any guy would be stupid to want to go for her. But, Hello just started. Hello should be much higher. It's already mid twenties on pop radio and not even cracking top 100 on iTunes. It's going to flop :flop:
Ozzy8923 9
I actually agree. But, then again, who am I to judge someone for failing in relationships. I mean, it wouldn't kill her to divert from the same theme after already having 3 albums of the same topics but it's none of my business, and, quite frankly, we're not the audience she appeals to. I'm sure Taylor's main interest, or better said, her label's main interest is that she continue appealing to (mostly) pre-teen girls (after all, they have been scientifically proven to be the people to buy the most music on itunes, I myself can agree with that since the only person in my house who buys digital singles is my 13 year old sister). So, in the end, she's just doing what brings in the most money, and, after all, the music industry is a BUSINESS and if there is no money coming in, then what's the point? I know I may be coming off as a bit superficial, but I'm just being realistic and putting myself in the point of view of a record label executive. You can't expect your label to support you if you don't bring them in any profits. I should shut up before I say something, I'm gonna regret. If I haven't done so already. :rip:

Arturo 40,746
Spectrum is slowly gaining traction. It's not even in the Top 200 of iTunes though :noparty:
Nick 29
It's not even in the Top 200 of iTunes though Tbh I don't think it will get anywhere but it makes me excited anyway I had similar feelings with Primadonna, and look how that turned out. :flop:

No shade, but I never got the love for her music A majority of her album sounds really basic I expected more from all the hype surrounding her on GGD. It took me quite some time to get into her music, but the album is really spectacular. :) This is her next single. Like Primadonna, I expect this to flop as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3hmQvVN3eY

Ozzy8923 9
So you're not going to buy Gaga's 1st single Well, I didn't buy Born This Way (the single) when it came out. I'd get it anyways when I buy the entire PHYSICAL album (I don't buy digital albums, so, in essence, the Complete My Album feature means nothing to me). I didn't buy Hold It Against Me either, I got the song when I purchased Femme Fatale. I'm not fond of buying singles if I'm just gonna end up buying the whole album anyways.
