Adakam 2
Good, the less excuses for people to go bareback, the better
Pacify Him 9,073
I like how all the comments are: "Well why don't you use protection?" Tbh, what we really need is a vaccine/cure and not prevention and y'all call yourselves educated I’m getting on your nerves

Also, at least in my case, it’s just an issue with catching anything, really. I have a mediocre immune system as it is (I’m prone to sinus and throat infections), adding onto the problem but just cause more of a strain on my body. If you are using condoms (correctly) twice a year should be enough. If you are participating in bareback sex and/or are using heavy drugs, sharing needles then 4 times a year should be a routine. But even if you are having safe sex and feel the need to go four times a year, more power to you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with seeing a negative test result four times a year. Luxe Ford 3,481
Also bear in mind that most men who will be infectious are the ones who are ignorant of being positive. The meds since the late 90s are so effective you're not 100% not spreading it on. But I respect people being scared. Psychologically it's called pseudo magical thinking. Even though you logically know nothing especially unfortunate will happen if you walk underneath a ladder, you avoid doing it because "what if?" I actually feel quite lucky because I don't have to worry about HIV. Someting else will kill me. Not the virus. Dayum 240
The problem is identified clearly in the article: 1) Not taking your medication religiously. 2) Having multiple sex partners (oblivious to or knowing that the other person is HIV+) and 3) Having condomless sex. Those who engage in the above three practices simultaneously should really be ashamed of themselves. I also think factors 2 and 3 are encouraged by the p0rn industry and dating apps

I don't get why it's so hard to use a condom.
