ASIB at your local movie theater UPDATE!!

We already have the worlwide release dates for the movie. In Mexico it releases one week later (October 12), however I've been to the movies at the two biggest cinema chains in the country and a) I have not seen the trailer, b) there are no movie posters anywhere when they have Venom ones (released the same date in Mexico), and c) they even have a review up for Fantastic Beasts 2. I'm geninuely concerned that the movie will not achive it's full potential without this simple promo.

What's your opinion about this? Have you seen the trailer in cinemas in your country (excluding US and Canda)? Are there poster for the movie at the theater or in the streets? Discuss.

UPDATE: So I just went to the movies to watch Crazy Rich Asians (Warner Bros) and they played the ASIB trailer!!!! It was a religious experience. My mom said "wow" under her breath when she saw Directed by Bradley Cooper and she also had a hard time recognizing Gaga just before she started with the Aaaahhs of The Shallow. The people in front of us were checking the cinema's app for the movie, why is there no pre-sale yet? A great day :vegas:

Here in NYC it’s plastered everywhere, in Times Square, on random sides of buildings, etc. I just saw The Nun (don’t do it) and they played two ASIB trailers before it; I previously saw it played before Searching, Crazy Rich Asians, and Ocean’s Eight too. It’s also sold out in many theaters all over the city during this opening week.

I hope ASIB’s sales are hot like Mexico in Mexico so you can rejoice too:huntyga:

I'm in Canada, and I'm not even exaggerating when I say one of our local channels play the trailer (alternating with various of the ASIB TV spots) between every commercial break. MTV Canada is also always airing the trailer.

I haven't seen posters around the city yet.

They have the poster at the theater where I live here in Chile already, the movie comes out the 11th. But I don't know about trailers before movies because I haven't gone seen any, I saw the poster from outside :huntyga:

I have no idea, the last time I paid attention to anything cinematic was December of last year when The Last Jedi came out :sharon:

The first time I see the first ASIB poster (on a bus) it was last Wednesday, one week before the official release.

I think they are doing the same thing in Mexico City ;)

I didn't go to cinema this week, but I am sure the trailer is already shown. I never watch TV so I have no idea if they show it or not.

I would worry much about the ad campaign, WB is promoting the movie AF.

In the UK, I am seeing posters everywhere - all over bus stops and a lot of people are talking about it.

The film is showing in all local cinemas and a lot of them are even offering exclusive previews for members.

The film is released Wednesday 3rd here and I cannot wait.

In Luxembourg it just says « coming soon », unlike our neighbors, we don’t have that Ladies Night avant-première bullshit.

Here they normally announce the release dates the week the movie comes out, so tomorrow the tickets will probably come out.

The poster is already here, but it’s in the back where no one can see it.

Oooh so promo might start the week of the national release here then. I think it's better as to spend the money of advertising as close as the release date then. :vegas:

There's TV ads, YouTube ads, ads on social media, pretty much everywhere. Billboards, walls on buildings, posters on the walls, some things that fans made. It is Los Angeles, Its not a surprise for everyone here to support Gaga
