Well, no, because she would add her touch to it to make it something else. For instance, Telephone sounds like the most basic song in the word and a total b-side when Britney does it, but Gaga does it and she brings that needed oomph and gravitas and self seriousness to take it somewhere. Same with a lot of Beyoncé’s earlier tracks. Also very by the numbers but she gives it her heart and soul and that little something else that makes her a star and elevates them to classics. They’re pop legends, not because their songs are remarkably well-written or thoughtful (though they can be at times), but because they have that star power to pull anything out of their a** and have it be gold. Same with Rihanna as well. Literally every song she’s ever released could and has been sung by someone else who is maybe vocally more talented but very few have Rihanna’s effortless energy that makes them work as pop hits. It’s like acting your way through a generic script. A good actor can make a bad script speak, a mediocre actor reads lines.

Honestly it’s only like 3 full songs. But that said...Close Your Eyes is some of the best pop music I’ve heard in YEARS

Honestly I think this is a very good representation of what we can expect for LG6 as it’s very similar to boys noize’s sound.  It’s the first thing I thought of.  If we get sounds like that and Close Your Eyes for LG6 I’ll literally be in heaven.  It also is interesting Kim has worked with SOPHIE son unreleased stuff, could have pulled some influences from SOPHIE which could further the possibility of this sounding similar to LG6
