I don't even think I've ever heard of a "Halloween" album, or at least a Halloween-infused pop album. It's so cool and right up my alley.

Ooof. Was excited for this, but it is not working for me.

Omen is a great intro, but I was let down by the rest of the album. Close Your Eyes and Tell Me It’s A Nightmare were the only songs I can see myself relistening to. I think Kim is delivering vocally but the production feels too hokey and not in a deliciously pop way. I can’t even place what sort of sound they are trying to go for...it’s not her retro 80s pop sound or retro anything but it’s also not anything fresh or contemporary. The songs without vocals/lyrics are not strong enough on their own to standout as club or dance music.

Glad she’s experimenting though! Thoughts?
