A studio version of the soundtrack exists but is no longer going ahead

Maybe issaa wrong thread?

But anyways in light of the release of Shallow, one of Camp Gagger's most reputable sources (PropaGaga) on PopJustice had the following to say on the issue:

I wish they used the trailer vocals.

I think it’s because they re-worked the live recording instead of just using the studio version - very strange choice. It’s funny because you can definitely hear the studio parts coming in and out as well. There is a studio version. They’re just choosing not to release it anymore. Like, I wouldn’t typically care if they used the live versions over the studio, it’s just the fact that they’ve obviously edited the live/film version to sound like the studio version when they actually have one recorded. I’ll get over it by tomorrow, it’s just a choice that’s throwing me a little bit. She even lipped to the studio versions during some of the tapings before doing the live take

It seems quite obvious that the groundwork for the music was done a long time ago. And the decision to incorporate the filtered live vocals onto the studio outtakes was a recent decision which would in turn explain all the studio time in 2018 with Mark Nilan, Justin Tranter, etc.

LGNow also confirms that the entire soundtrack is live vocals dubbed onto studio outtakes

Guys let's just be happy that Gaga can sing live LIKE THAT and most of the singers can't make a live album so:vegas:

She is winning again…. somehow she always stays here. I can’t stand it.

REALITY

Why is this such a big deal though? We always praise Gaga for singing live and not using autotune, but when she does it here, we're all in a frenzy about it.

The song's amazing and the fact that it's live makes it better.

I think the problem is that Warner is using the studio renditions for all the promo clips (Is That Alright, Shallow, Maybe Its Time, Black Eyes) and therefore we know just how ****ing epic they are, and they're literally going to waste for absolutely no good reason

I can see why they'd go ahead with a Live version over a studio considering the Film.

I'm happy with whatever we get but I'd be lying if i said i wouldn't rather a studio version.

I have zero issue with it being live, but the mixing is horrid. And the messy adlibs (some of which are clearly live, while others are clearly studio additions) before the big note are horrible.

I just want to know why this version has more "aaHahaaa" at the beginning than the movie version leaked
