The Smart Thing Gaga Did

I was watching YouTube videos the other day and I came across this channel called Government Gypsy. They make videos every Wednesday and most are about Gaga and things that she's done in her career (i.e. All Songs Released Before Each Album, Things You May Have Forgotten About "The Fame" Era, etc.). One of the videos was "Lady Gaga: Looks from Each of her Single's Eras" and, obviously, it's about each look from every single era. 

The reason this was a smart move was because it kept you interested in Gaga. Now, Pop Stars only change from era to era. Gaga changed from each single era and changed from one look to another. She even did it with Million Reasons and The Cure mini eras. She was a constant chameleon, not only in the fashion sense, but also in the musical sense. I think that's what made her stand out from other pop stars at the time. Katy was serving the same look from 2008 to 2013 and that's why the public was not here for the Witness Era. She stayed with that same image for many years, so when she changed her hair color, people were saying she was having a meltdown. 

Because Gaga changed so much, even earlier in her career, people weren't shocked that she went from one phase to another. Like hooded leotards, 'The Fame' glasses, and origami dresses from the Just Dance Era to black latex outfits, hair bow and huge eyelashes in the Poker Face era. From black and blonde wigs, crazy eye makeup, and religious clothing during the promotion of Judas to teal wigs, dark eyebrows, and leather/studded outfits during the rise of The Edge of Glory. Even going from long blonde hair, the Joanne hat, and pink outfits from Million Reasons era to curly blonde hair, white outfits, and silver eyepieces in The Cure era. It gave her an advantage because she was different each time we saw her. The reason it worked so well was because she started it early in her career.

It just proves why she's going to be known in this industry forever. Because she constantly evolves.
