Joanne also failed to achieve being the best metal album of 2016, but then again it was never intended for it to be that

Joanne wanted to be a indie folk/rock for its "stripped down" purposes but ultimately failed and just became a pop album with a weak country theme, with only a few good exceptions. Read what i ****ing wrote before throwing weak drags. Ffs

I understood what you wrote, but I want to know where did Gaga ever say that she wanted the album to be indie folk.

Joanne isn't an indie folk album though, it's a pop album that has folk/country/classical/rock/americana influences 

the difference between ASIB songs and Joanne is that ASIB songs are from Ally, not Gaga. Ally is a character written by the movie's writers that Gaga had to portray

Okay, I am a Joanne STAN and I only listened to one leak because I have no self control. It was the always remember us this way or something and I got motherf*cking chills.  I’m not sure if this soundtrack can replace Joanne as number one in my heart, but it has the possibility to become pretty darn close.

Where did you read that? Lady Gaga really wanted Joanne to be indie?? can you please post the receipts cause opinions are not facts. Joanne was ALWAYS meant to be a pop album with rock/folk/country influences, Lady Gaga will always make pop albums but with new genres influences.

some of you guys need to spend more time on here, Joanne is a pop album and was always meant to be one.

 

I haven't heard the songs but a lot of people are liking them

No matter how good ASIB is it will never be more "Gaga" than Joanne, ARTPOP, BTW and TFM simply because it's not related to her life or her point of view. In a way it's kinda like Cheek to Cheek.
