You don't have to use the word "allegedly" 'cause you're just spilling facts.

Born This Way is Gaga's best and most ambitious album to date :vegas: Joanne comes close.

Like I said before on a similar thread, I understand why the fanbase loves BTW. I understand its importance. But I still believe is not Gaga’s best album. It has way too many fillers. Most of the songs there sound outdated by now. Except TEOG and You & I. It’s just not as cohesive as TFM.

You know this is just my opinion, right?

I was 11 when Btw came out and I remember my classmates teasing me for loving Gaga since I was 9 years old. I still remember not caring and the day Born this way came out going to target with my parents to buy the album. I remember hearing Bloody Mary for the first time and thinking I've never heard a song so amazing in my life! Anyways when I think of this album I am taken back to the feeling of love and complete joy 11 year old me felt when listening to it. I didn't care that the kids in my class made fun of me or thought I was weird, because when I listened to this album I was transformed into a new person. To this day and literally yesterday, whenever I drive around in my car this is the album I play and I'm still not tired of it 7 years later.

Btw is my favorite largely because it’s still her best sound fusion mixing her dark electronic and rock influences, and the entire package is very distinctly Gaga and sounds like nothing else.   Lyrics are stream of consciousness surreal which mostly works but sometimes doesn’t.  BTW has both her highest highs and some of her lowest lows, but it’s a very personal and distinct album that is very unique to who she is as an artist. Nobody else would have made that album, not generic in the slightest.

I agree, people can like another album more, but technically Born This Way is superior in all domains

Yes BTW and it’s Era served everything and slayed. It was very creative, risky, and pushed boundaries. It was such an ambitious album lyrically and melodically. It is definitely her best album behind TFM! It’s an indeed under appreciated masterpiece by the GP too. It will remain a true piece of art and one of her best records in her catalogue.

It’s easily not her best album. It’s just loved by the LGBTQ crowd, for obvious reasons, but it’s faaaar from being her best.
