Are you saying that the 'single piano version' has two versions or just that the album version was bad and the single version was better

I was talking about Perfect Illusion, sorry

No, but when the single was first released the sound was badly mixed

Mmm I think that wasn’t ARTPOP? Oh wait, no ARTPOP was the one she said was best with speakers. Queen of dictating audio listening devices

Oh you guys might be right :laughga:   it's hard to keep track at this point.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Inferno

Some people have brought this up over the years and i've never found a problem with the album in terms of production quality. Maybe its not clean af but not to sound too pretentious but like a portion of music I listen to does not have clean af audio quality. Its not what I come to expect of pop music per say, but I think they were maybe going for a more....raw approach? Like electronic music but it almost sounds more raw in production quality like a rock/metal record? It would make sense if that was a concept considering the theming and influences of born this way

It was both ARTPOP and Born This Way. In fact you can even date that back to The Fame+Monster when she was constantly promoting beats by Dre and even released her own. Shes always been talking about wanting her fans to listen to the music using better quality headphones to get the experience she gets in the studio.

Yeah, like I said earlier i think Joanne is actually her worst work in terms of mixing.  Maybe it's because of the whole "raw sound" thing
