sad that it took 126 years for them to get a black photographer for their cover.

It's a stupid move from Vogue. Bey is big enough she doesn't need this cover. Gaga does. So this is a loss. And it's sad because both the hive and Bey are pretentious, they get everything given to them.

The captions in magazine and out on the Cover be like;

Beyonce the Greatest

Legendary, Queen Bey

if she does not write these, then im %100 sure something close to these.

uhhh.

I know she is a hard-working amazing woman but where is the thing called; unique and talented.

Since 2013 she' s been trying to stand tall with media stuff Jay cheating, babiess.

Nothing different Kim K. does.

if Kim sings and dances like Beyonce she would be a mega-star already. and im not meaning Beyonce is the best out there. I just watched Tina T. concert 2 days ago and wow, that Coachella performance is nowhere near Tina T.'s energy. same for MJ. People disrespect the real legends so much. Like Bey supassed Mj. Come on. Mj can dance and sing. moreover he has that uniqueness and art factor no one else does. its the real deal...

Please realize people.

Beyonce is just a version of Kim K. who is an avarage talented singer, a nice dancer and uses media very good. but i have to admit. Beyonce is one of the hardest working woman in the sector.

She has not even half of uniqueness and artistry Gaga has.

First the visual album shot at the Colosseum among other locations and now taking over VOGUE magazine...that's going to be one massive and expensive way to promote her next album. Should be EPIC.

What are you talking about? Of course VOGUE would give the cover and magazine, to Beyonce exactly because she is big and sells. She has also become a cultural icon and she is riding of the black and female movements which have become stronger and more vocal in the last few years. Gaga deserves it too but at the moment Beyonce is more relevant as she represents a big shift in how black women and black people in general are viewed and treated. That is why she is showing off, giving herself a Goddess-like appeal and bragging of her achievements. She is representing her people.  That's also why Black Panther was such a massive blockbuster across the globe. And both Beyonce and Black Panther deserving so as they combine true talent, great productions and grand scales while still representing their blackness in its full.

Why were you even expecting Gaga to be on the september cover? ASIB comes out in October and thats when they want the focus on her. Its literally the most simple thing to figure out :laughga:

I'm sick and tired of people acting like Beyonce is this god and everyone should just go along with it and praise it.

Yes she is black. Yes she has encouraged the BLM movement. But no, she does not need the September issue of vogue.  Everyone is pandering to Bey

whew all the white gays exposing their racism, I live! O

OT: It’s amazing she’s giving young black artists a platform of such a high caliber considering he’ll be the first black photographer to ever do Vogue!

There's a strong rumor that this September issue could be Anna Wintour's last one. If it's true, it's like the end of an era. But it's not fully confirmed, as far as I know.

(I don't know if you were just being sarcastic or not :toofunny:)

completely ;) But I also didn't know that! That's cray, but I could see it happening.

...I love that this thread turned into a "Hey, wait, what about Gaga's shoot?" to "BEYONCE STOLE THIS FROM HER" when all we're going off of is speculation :laughga: we're all so crazy and messy, I live :vegas:

So glad to see Beyonce trying her very best to make a difference. If I was in her position, I would have hired a brown photographer.

And to the users who are very surprised about the racist, anti comments I just want to say: Please don't be so surprised. Not all people have political knowledge. Most of them are very young or live in a denial. Their rational comments are just a reflection of their privilege, most importantly their supreme superiority.

What is “need” though? She has a new album out and she’s touring, having a Vogue cover (especially the September issue) is great promotion for that. Just because she (or anyone) is bigger and more famous at the moment that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have the opportunity of covers/interviews/performances/etc to further promote :duck:

You sound really bitter smh. Beyoncé's team knows how to market her, Vogue knows she's way more influential than Gaga at the moment, and Bey has been in the industry for like 20 years snd is just now having her greatest peak. It's not her fault, she's just enjoying herselef while the praise and hype around her lasts.

This. Some Monsters need to chill when it comes to Beyoncé. I remember back in 2010-2012 when everyone was licking Gaga's b***h*** lmao it's the same thing now, and let's be thankful that the GP is acting like that towards Bey and not some awful rapper.

You are embarrassing at this point. You claim to be so sick of hearing about Bey yet you enter literally every thread about her. This obsession you have with someone you claim to not like isn’t okay. You act as if Gaga still couldn’t have the October issue which would make more sense seeing as that’s when the movie comes out. And don’t get bold talking about the hive as if Monsters are some saints when monsters hate on any artist currently more successful than Gaga. And then you have the audacity to call bey and the hive pretentious?? As if monsters don’t shame every artist who uses the help of song writers?? Lmao bye.
