Reading the article it seems like she is going through withdrawal so she must have been taking for some time now

The hospital is the best place she can be right now. No access to whatever she OD’d on and under 24/7 surveillance.

This is really sad and I hope she can make a full recovery. I mean, from what's been thrown around on the Internet that she's taken, if even half of that is true, those are some pretty hard drugs she's put into her body and she most likely is going through withdraws. The safest/best place for her to be right now is right where she's at.

first of all... the doctors have to make absolutly sure that she didnt overdosed on purpuse, that she didnt wanted to kill herself. thats a possibility that honestly is not impossible.

second of all i think she also relapsed on alcohol as well and to get sober from that, she needs to detox her body with medication to make sure she is not gonna die from withdrawl (dangerous af!). that takes at least two weeks.

and last but not least, if the doctors of her are any good in their job... they dont let her go home. they will send her directly to rehab without a break between hospital and rehab. that would be the best thing that could possibly happen to her right now.

I wonder if this was cuz of the fame. The last year has been the peak of her career. She gained her biggest hit ever in the US,  released an album that has been one of the best selling by a female in the past year (pure sales wise i think only taylor and p!nk sold more in the last year). And had some decent hits internationally with EDM artists.

I wouldn't be surprised if its that. She's probably under a lot of pressure right now and she hasn't really stopped since 2013 (as in consistently releasing music). She seems to struggle with fame so I really hope she takes time to herself now.

The comments on that TMZ article are so disturbing. Withdrawals are no fun but she’s in the best place she can be. Hope she recovers and uses this horrifying experience to keep her from using again in the future.

This is actually fairly normal, especially if it was a suicide attempt. You dont overdose on drugs and they send you home with a lollipop 2 days later. She’ll be in for a while.
