However I feel like nothing is really a sure thing in popular music especially now with streaming, the rise of hip-hop and the decentralization of everything. I'm just interested to see if they really are able to come back strong or if they'll have the rug pulled out from under them. If their lead is as big or bigger than Stressed Out will the follow-ups be as big as Ride or Heathens? Longevity in popular music is getting rarer and rarer so I'd honestly be excited if their next 3-5 singles do really well. on a three day bender

TØP is by far the largest alternative rock act, their influence is EVERYWHERE now. I think they just have to continue being innovative/trendsetting. If they get compared to any other current act, that's where they will stumble.

The success of TØP, Halsey etc. even made TS comfortable with going in a more Alternative direction but we all know how that turned out on a three day bender
