Because the GP hates when a well established artist changes his/her style and because the GP hates when a well established artist always does the same :vegas: :selena:

We have the remember that her major hit prior to the release of Perfect Illusion was Applause in 2013, therefore it needed heavy promotion especially it being so different from her usual sound. But guess what, that didn't happen xoxo :cryga: p.s

Cuz it sounded like Gaga ran out of lyrics after the second paragraph.. The bridge was barely there..and the rest was just the same chorus all over the place till the end.. Even that brilliant key change couldn't make it any more likable!

It's just one mess of a song. Nothing works together and it just quickly falls apart when the listener hears it. Sorry not sorry...

Changer the title fat :triggered:

SORRY THIS IS OFF TOPIC.

no? Its why did perfect illusion flop first of all. Second, these people here are mostly second language speakers, so maybe give them a break on tiny grammar mistakes?????? I hate it when someone criticizes someones second or third language abilities if they don't speak more than one.

Does she even like the song? She said PI being the first single was the label's choice and she didn't  promote it at all, plus it's hard to sing for her.

It was a horrible choice for a lead single. The reason the public got tired of Gaga during ARTPOP was because she was "too much". Why on earth did they then choose the song with the most going on (bunch of different genres and sounds thrown together, key change, too loud, grating vocals) as the lead?

Plus of course the total lack of decent promo...

Feedback that I heard at the time of it's release:

1. It wasn't what was popular at the time, and people follow trends.

2. It was too repetitive, even for a pop song?

3. People felt like it was loud/she was shouting.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

1. It wasn't a GP friendly song. Or an ear friendly song. Fight me.

2. It wasn't promoted properly.
