Between the video, the VMAs and the song itself, Paparazzi took Gaga in a MUCH more artistic direction that could only be continued with Bad Romance. Releasing a track like Summerboy, Starstruck, or BBB would've been so regressive, even if they would've performed well at the time. The Fame Monster: Monster would've have smashed for sure and the video would have been amazing. By far her biggest missed single opportunity IMO. Born This Way: Nothing left on Born This Way would've made a successful single but I'd say just release Scheiße for the hell of it. The fans love it and having a video for it would've been nice. ARTPOP: Gypsy for sure. Anything else would have damaged her already weakened image much more. Joanne: Diamond Heart, A-Yo, or Dancin' in Circles. I don't think any of them would've been successful but they're all great songs and a video would've been cute I'm overall very happy with Gaga's single choices (minus Judas), their rollouts, however, post The Fame Monster and ESPECIALLY post Born This Way, could've been a lot better.
