Homophobic couple who killed child sentenced to life, death sentence

They killed this kid because they thought he was gay.

Over the course of several months, the pair tortured Gabriel at their home in Los Angeles by locking him up in cabinets, beating him with bats and shooting him with BB guns. 

The boy was taken to hospital on May 23, 2013, after he stopped breathing. He had pellets lodged in his lung and groin and had a fractured skull.

It’s her son. She got sentenced to life in prison. 

Her boyfriend got the death penalty.

Even when I find what they do so repulsive and horrible, I think death penalty isn't right. I don't know why the US is still applying it.

They deserve it, she needs to have a pic of her beaten dying son in her cell so she will remember how he looked like in his last hours.

Oh my god...

I can only imagine the kind of pain that little boy was going through for months. This abhorrent couple deserves the worst; no one should treat anyone else (much less their own child) like that...

It's ok not to feel sympathy but to decide if a person has the right to live or not...

A person says it is wrong to take someone's life and decides to take someone's life as a penalty.

Public execution for the mother and father. No remorse for sick people like that. They chained him in a closet to sleep, cut his genitals, beat him severely with objects and tools on multiple occasions.... social workers did nothing.

This is one of the most disgusting things I have ever read. These type of people deserve absolute horrible punishments for a despicable hate crime against their own son who they brought into this world. Absolutely heart wrenching

and they look like the type to procreate for the sake of feeding off of the government and taxpayer dollars. Glad they’re gone
