I mean, what he did was wrong but I think firing shouldn´t be the first action nor choice. I would have given him a severe warning and make him apologize publicly. If the behavior persists and becomes problematic then I´d fire him.

This. Taylor should've done what sports teams do and "bench" him for the rest of the UK tour, in addition to having him apologize.

People need to learn that others have poor judgement at times, but I doubt this guy is truly sexist or Taylor wouldn't have befriended him.

As much as I enjoy dark humor, sharing these memes on your private work related social media page isn’t the place to do it. Especially that chloroform one :saladga:

Well we don’t know EVERYTHING. This could very well be a problem and this was the last straw for all we know.

We only see .01% of what goes on in these people’s lives and how they work together.

If that's the case then yes, firing would be appropriate, if its just a poor call of judgment I think taking away his job is not the best option. a suspension would have worked tbh

Nnnn back when I used to work at Walmart, two of the managers were caught sexually harassing their employees, and all they got was a few days suspension and a mandatory sexual harassment workshop. So firing him over a few memes seems a bit much, even tho they were (and he is) disgusting. But she’s the boss so whatever she says, goes.

do you not see how severe these "jokes" are? one of them is about rape

he didn't do this once, he did it MULTIPLE times to a very young audience and told them all to deal with it. he got what he deserved.

Taylor doesn't take anyone's bs. That's why she's on top of the world. Good decision, he can now say TayTay to his great payroll and worldwide fun.

They should’ve been fired and reported :triggered:

They were reported, that’s why they got suspended + mandatory sexual harassment workshops. I think they didn’t get fired/arrested because the ladies never formally filed a complaint/made a police report (they were outed by other employees)

I agree they got off way too easily, I was trying to convey how different situations involving sexual misconduct/general sexism are depending on the workplace lol
