Soundtracks don't get released until very close to a movie's release, so it's very plausible they're finishing it up when the movie's still months away. I honestly don't think they are recording, it's more mastering and finishing tracks. Gaga is always doing this in few days in NYC before handing an album to the label. Yeah, I’m sure that the movie itself will have the live versions of them singing the songs, but the soundtrack will be all of the songs in complete form, cause idk if we will hear all of the songs in full in the film. From her recent looks yesterday, today, and days prior, she looks like she's in better shape, which is amazing. On the one hand, yes. On the other, if everything was already done they might've well released it this month as previously scheduled. I know awards season took a role in this but I'm sure that because of the extra time they are fine tuning everything even more so than planned before. The soundtrack album will probably include around 10 to 14 songs, similar to a regular, release, as in where the movie will only include a handful of them as, according to the ones who went to screenings and the old versions of the movie, ASIB is not a full musical.
