It makes me sad to see how fast people post comments like "**** ISRAEL", without even knowing all the details.

More than 40 thousand people were sent by the Hamas to cross the border with one goal - killing.

What would you do? let them do that? or defend your country no matter what?

These are literally unarmed children, women, and families protesting for their lack of basic human rights. Western media outlets have interviewed hundreds of protestors days in advanced on their intentions for protest. Literally there is no substantial evidence to suggest otherwise. This rhetoric that Hamas sponsored these “murder-intent” attacks needs to stop.

But it's proven.

Hamas is encouraging families in Gaza to protest with a clear intention to kidnap a soldier or to attack a close Israeli village. This thought that Hamas is a peaceful organization that "just wants peace" is a lie and that, my friend, needs to stop.

You make peace by having someone that will acknowledge your existence first and foremost. Which is not the case with Hamas. They don't acknowledge Israel and probably won't either in the future.

It was reported that they placed explosive charges near the border, they the one who put those innocent families and children in the fire zone on the first place.

I feel sorry for those people that are being forced to put their life in danger in order to please the Hamas, who wants nothing but to destroy Israel and kill innocent people.

I see things got heated here.

I personally disagree with the actions of both sides on certain aspects.

It seems everyone is an absolutist on this topic....I think looking at context is important in every situation.

What is sad is the loss of human life over this conflict.

Hamas is encouraging civilians to put themselves into danger, knowingly these people could be shot, and using the casualties for PR. Sorry, but after 70 years one can expect the Arabs to understand Israel is more powerful than they ever were, so provoking forces on its border is useless. I feel sorry for these people that got to live under control of a terrorist organization and I hope they will move over, give up on thier unrealistic dreams of having JLM or returning to their long-gone villages and be ready to make peace.

Why is is a danger to protest ? Please tell me ?

Do you understand why people are protesting ?

Do you seriously believe that Hamas runs the Gaza Strip ? They dont give a **** about it or the people.

They must move over and go where ? Where ? Please tell me that ? People where kicked out of homes and have mo where to go but must move on from their unrealistic dreams ? Pathetic

Israel is an Apartheid state. When the world acknowledges that, things will start to change.

Um, the Holocaust should be used as a lesson for Jews. Your comment is beyond disgusting.

OP: as expected. I hope the situation cools down again

It kinda is though, I mean what I think he meant is that when you are affected by something you learn how painfull it is, and if you have any humanity on you, you wont do the same thing you lived to another people.

( I AM NOT SAYING IT'S THE SAME THING, but the logic is the same. )

Hamas' "involvement" (and I put that in quotations because it has yet to be proven from reputable media sources on my end) has nothing to do with the bulk of the Palestinian protestors involved in today's massacre or those that died today. Regardless of their motives, the bulk of the protestors involved are retaliating due to their oppression and the government's actions. Their lack of resources, adequate medical care, etc. are inexcusable. The fact that Israeli armed forces are dropping tear gas on journalists and reporters from outside the region further fuels the fact that this is out of hand and that there is no excuse for this action on behalf of Israeli government and military officials.

The fact that handicapped, wheelchair bound people, kids, and the elderly are being killed amid protest is inexcusable. To generalize the entire group protestors in having a murderous intent is gross. The fact that so many people are coming in here refusing to acknowledge that this indeed is an international atrocity is sad.  I'm sorry, but there is just no justification for this.

Palestians with bombs and people wanting to harm Isreali's are charging toward the border, what do you expect Israel to do? Anti Israel Hypocrites who directly feed into Palestine Terrorist propaganda who have no idea what it is like.

I mean really, what do you want Israel to do? If people who are potentially terrorists are charging, what do you want them to do? They have no choice

Umm. So youre telling me the isreali border that is more like a 10 foot wide barrier with a 20 foot wall, is penetrateable? There is no explanation to the systematic killings of the Palestinians after kicking them out of their homes.

I’m convinced some members just read the title, think ‘Middle Eastern’, and automatically say, “well **** religion, the world would be so much better without it, blah blah blah”. That is such a superficial understanding of the situation and I urge people to actually look up the history of what’s been going on here in contemporary history before posting those kinds of comments.

Palestinians can be Muslim, Christian, Jewish (there are some documented privately), and atheist. Religion is only one small component of the bigger issue at hand.

OT: This is despicable and disgusting. My thoughts are will all of the minors and families murdered today, and the loved ones who won’t be able to see them again. It’s heartbreaking. 💔

Could you please elaborate on why this is even happening? I know very little
