LOL it won’t. Those doesn’t matter much here except in here, in Calif. where all these strange diet fads came from. Anyway, USA is only #12 for obesity in the world. (https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/29-most-obese-countries-in-the-world.html)

Haha that "only" was very delusional! #12. Look at the other 11 countries. Country #1 has about 11k people in total. USA is my favorite country in the world, but it's shocking. I live in Spain and I probably see one person a year using a wheelchair due to obesity, on the states it's crazy! Seeing a person with morbid obesity in most countries I know is very rare (which should be the normal thing)

"ONLY" ?! :toofunny:

The countries above (except for Koweit) have population from 10k to 100k and most of them must be old retired people wanting to enjoy the islands ! Even Koweit only has 4 millions people.

The US has 117 millions obese people :toofunny: That's huge :rip:

Edit: @DannyRodeck was faster :emma:

I thought they already did this :duck: Or at least I'm pretty sure loads of places in the UK already do it, I would've assumed the US got there first because they've got a bigger obesity problem

Canada already does this :trollga:

Many businesses in the US have been doing this for years. It will just now be required by law so all big chain restaurants and establishments will be forced to post the calorie content of their items.

Yeah it's useful to have it on display!

Not every Province has it tho.

Ontario made it law 1 or 2 years ago but I don't know if any other Province has a law like this too

Well realistically, if u want to look at the severity of a societies problem it has to be looked at in proportion to population not total numbers

India for example is a large economy but that's due to size. It does not mean it's a more prosperous land than say Norway which has a much tinier economy with its 5 Million people

Canada is the Solange Knowles of the western world. Less commercial success than her big sister America (Beyonce), but always on point

Not every Province in Canada has this tho :rip:

Some US States do... So I don't see the difference. Both Countries don't have it Federally yet but both have it in some regions so why are Canadians here bragging about it? :awkney:

PS: shush with the inferiror commercial success. We have almost as low unemployment as US (when measured using Americas methology for measuring it) and that's despite a higher labor force participation rate and despite not needing to run deficits of nearly 5% of GDP to keep economy strong

We do have problems u don't tho. And I can write a giant essay on our housing shortage problem or sovereignty problem where Provinces are superimposing their autonomy ahead of Federal Government and causing economic dysfunction but I've rented about that too many times and don't feel like doing it yet again :emma:

Eighteen

this is a good change for people trying to watch what they eat. transparency is better. but at the same time, let's not demonize or look down upon obese people. like, c'mon. okay, it's a problem, everybody knows it, like for goodness sake you're being annoying -_-

I'm glad! This is great news to me. If only there was a way to see the actual nutrient breakdown for each meal though :triggered:

Not a lot of people care though and I don't wanna be the annoying customer so I guess I'll have to keep suffering by myself :triggered:
