I will not discredit Bobby for helping her get the SB, but was it really promo considering she performed songs from years ago, whos eras are done with and have been done with?

If Bobby would’ve helped promote Joanne more, I don’t think it would have performed as poorly as it did in regards to some other albums, like BTW or TFM. Yes, Joanne did good, but it’s no secret that with the right promo LG6 can reach the levels of success of TFM.

I think the album was promoted fine (in terms of live performanceS) but I do agree with you though that it was not promoted SMARTLY in regards to trying to make the music a hit. Gaga as a brand was promoted amazingly during the Joanne era but her actual music felt like a bit of an after thought. The best form of promo for your actual music is and has always been RADIO and streaming. Her music was hardly on streaming playists and hardly did anything on radio. Even MR was barely played despite it's potential (I mean 72M audience is hardly anything significant). Her team need to focus now on making her music career a success. Gaga's brand has been mellowed enough, she's now relatable, she's now acclaimed (when it comes to her live performing vocal skills) etc...so what they set out to do is done BUT it's time Bobby proves he can make her MUSICALLY relevant (as in make her songs hits...at least moderate global hits).

I can't at people complaining about TOO MANY LIVE PERFORMANCES  She's a ****ing singer, she doesn't have to do ANY of the other **** if she doesn't want to, she only has to SING. If you are insecure and need #1 after #1 and sold out tour after sold out tour it's your OWN problem, you can't blame your insecurities on Gaga's manager. Talk about taking fandom to a really creepy level.

There's only ONE thing I don't like about the way Gaga promotes her music and it's how she neglects the whole entire world apart from like 3 countries. And that has nothing to do with Bobby, if Gaga wanted to visit Palookavile and perform there I'm pretty sure Bobby would try and arrange something.
