DavidJP 737
I loved it! But i wish we saw more of the making of Joanne to be honest... and more of the superbowl!!! I didn't need the Bad Romance performance tbh.
EarnYourLeather 231
Honestly, I never cared for her personality, so seeing it kinda enhanced my feelings about her. Her music and live performances tho are the reasons why I’m a fan. I’m with other original monsters - the larger than life, mystique pop super star with pop anthems (and visuals) was the Gaga I fell in love with. Linus Gaga 8,206
10 hours ago, Hurem said: Not really, no. It seemed like they chose random footage and just threw it together. I would’ve preferred the standard documentary style more. Exactly. I enjoy watching it but the editing was not good enough, may be some fan made video on youtube is better Hit me a message and say hi !

Addison Rae 16,722
I enjoyed it. What I thought I knew about her completely changed. It felt like I got to know more about her as Stefani rather than Gaga. We know that she wasn’t fully “her” since she’s in the Joanne persona, but it altogether showed us her journey from 2016-17 sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi
InsomniaMonster69 3,471
The only this g that I disliked is that I had to see Gaga so often crying... it made me sad... WHO? WHO the duck dislikes this documentary??? It's pure and it's real. It's a side we've never seen befor!
Moo 2,082
I liked it. It was a proper fly-on-the-wall documentary. Nothing seemed particularly staged. The only annoying part was the bed editing during Bad Romance performance at Tony Bennett’s birthday. It made it look like she was lipsyncing. Also the bit at the start when she does a faux-Italian accent while doing the silly hand movement over some pasta is truly tragic. But overall it was a slay. ModernEcstasy 9,030
This thread inspired me to go and rewatch 5ft2 for a second time since it was first released as I was unsure about it No, there is nothing I dislike about it. In fact, I am now even more excited for the next era. Damn
Enigma 7,182
As a fan I felt like I didn’t learn anything new watching it. It was like watching random footage of someone I know I think the movie was more meant for the casual fans / the GP that think she’s still wearing meat dresses and stuff and didnt know about Stefani
MeloArtDramaPop 789
I loved it, but I think shesgould make a documentary that showcased her entire career. From the very beginning. Because there are a lot of other interesting things that happened for instance the ARTPOP era, and obviously the born this way advocacy. I would like a doc that would show how she became the biggest pop star in the world to being one of themost infamous and back to being the most loved. Basically the paparazzi fame theory so everyone can realize that she knew all along the trajectory her career would take

kaojen 1,571
I loved it so much. i think the whimsical feeling almost made it feel like she and her life were fiction when it really wasn’t. It was a bit different though for me because of the adrenaline of seeing it at TIFF right after she performed and in a big theater. I’ve watched it 3 more times since then. i loved the cinematography and choice of focal points (like when she was in the hallway after crashing into Mark’s car). It was also weird seeing all of her team on screen after seeing a few of them in person and I felt a bit of “Teehee” when they showed their names like dude I already know that’s Bobby and Richy teehee. i don’t know. I loved it a lot myself
Guest
I was sad it was more about her fibromyalgia; I kinda hoped it would be a long BTS for the recording of Joanne imagine hearing gaga be like ‘hey beck let’s write a song about masturbation’
