So we're just not doing 'did you like-' we're just gonna go ahead with disliking being the default? Okay work

I thought everything about it was amazing- seeing behind the scenes is always so interesting. I need like a regular reality show into Gaga's life in the same format as 5ft2 :laughga:

My lil problem with 5F2 was the way they tried to show "too much" and then the screen time for stuff was "too little".

I mean it's just that they try to show about her personal life. They try to show about Joanne in the making and then The SuperBowl Halftime show.

Looking at it, now, it's like they had 3 different docs mixed into one (well, if we picture that  "Superbowl" was meant to have it's own doc and the whole doc thing started as "MAKING JOANNE"...).

It's just a lot happening and then not enough at all. I'd be way more interested about the Terry movie about her life and then 5F2 just as a "MAKING JOANNE" and the SuperBowl with it's own doc. Every part with it's own body of work.

Nah, the only thing I wanted to see more of was the making of the Super Bowl and maybe why she chose that exact sound on Joanne as opposed to other 'stripped down' genres. But overall it was a pretty good documentary.

As the op, I think what I didn't like was that it was too real. I loved how Gaga was an enigma in the beginning of her career and used to say things like nobody wants to see her putting the trash out in her slippers.

I know it goes against what I said about it being contrived but it just felt like the real moments were staged at times. Like we're watching the Kardashians show if that makes sense where all the real moments are scripted.

I adore Gaga no matter what but I think I belong to the fan group who want to see the magic of the fame where she's the larger than life superstar and not the person who's been chewed up and spat out by the fame monster.

it would be much better if it was a series with like 9 episodes, from the making of joanne to the planning of the tour

No :what:

I probably never saw such a real documentary. I mean I didn’t feel any fake moment in that movie :diane:

Imagine a Netflix Original series about Gaga :cryga: God, my wig wouldn’t survive

I feel the same. Some parts really did feel contrived. This might be because she was playing the Joanne persona throughout the film, or I have a massively different view of who Gaga is that this departure just felt wrong. What the answer is, I'm still quite uncertain.

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
