I think the JWT relied so much on the technical aspect of the stage / videos that it left little room to improvisation and interaction. I mean, she said so herself. It was pretty impossible to go off script, and I also think her health issues prevented her from really detaching herself from the scenery - I believe her main concern was basically to stay focused and just go through the show... Also, let's not forget we're living in a post-Manchester era of concerts, so I get why things felt a little more guarded and tight than usual. TimisaMonster 31,073 Posted April 9, 2018 Share Posted April 9, 2018 TF-BTWB were perfect the way they were artRAVE... 1) The tour poster looked so fanmade and cheap 2) the merch was so subpar as compared to the BTWB 3) The inflatable baloon stage was such a downgrade from the BTWB and looked so tacky and made the stage empty 4) Not performing some songs like Aura and Mary Jane Holland in full was annoying 5) Speaking of Mary Jane Holland...what was that STUPID chair choreography? But it was still amazing. artRAVE needed full fledged interludes not just the brief videos on the screen. Intense interludes JWT style JWT needed better VIP packages for the coin. If we're gonna pay 1500 to 'meet' Gaga, should be a lot more than 10 seconds. If she's not interested in meeting people (which is totally fine), then bring down the price and offer some merch, a good seat/GA early entry, drinks and a lounge.
