Rihanna- a few big singles and huge streaming, ok album sales Gaga- Maybe 1 big single and then a few smaller hits, great album sales, lacks in streaming abit. In terms of promo, neither Beyoncé or Lemonade were hugely promoted if I remember it correctly. Same for ANTi. Because Beyoncé are Rihanna are simply more popular than Gaga, their eras will be bigger, but LG6 will still be impactful cause it's Gaga. Thing is Gaga has come to a point where her success should not be based on sales, but on impact. Million Reasons was a moderate hit but had huge impact worldwide. Just look at all the many different countries where X Factor contestants choose that song. Even though Gaga is not as successful as before in terms of sales, people now regard her as an artist, as a living icon, who doesn't need to prove anything anymore cause they know she's super talented. Joga 3,813 Posted April 2, 2018 Share Posted April 2, 2018 I suppose Rihanna is gonna go back to her 'Loud' sounds on R9, the news was floating somewhere on Twitter but I can't seem to find it. She thought that she'll be going back to her pop sounds because her fans love it (not really) and not her urban side. I wish she could do more ANTi, but whatever. I think Beyonce's gonna do great in terms of quality and praise from critics, but not really on the singles to be released. I don't know about Gaga though, maybe the GP would love her again after 3 years of not being on their sight and re-inventing her image through tributes, Joanne and the Superbowl. But it's her TEAM that is the problem. Part of the reason Joanne did those less #s is because it was a local album.
