youandi 2,110 Posted April 1, 2018 Share Posted April 1, 2018 There’s so much I’d love her to do, I want a much rockier album, but with electronic/dance influences, like parts of Born This Way but much rockier. Would also love an album that’s got disco in its veins but follows a few different genres. ALSO some properly timeless music, Joanne was pretty timeless so I think it’s going to age brilliantly. Dance music can be timeless too, it just needs to sound like it can have been made years ago or years in the future and not have followed a trend, deffo some Born This Way songs like that But what I want the most is something I’m shocked she’s never done before. I dunno how to describe well but a concept album that can be listened to in a way which is like watching a movie, I think Lemonade and Melodrama are recent albums that kind of achieved this, Dark Side Of The Moon and Viva La Vida are other examples. It doesn’t have to be an actual obvious story concept album cause they can be a bit forced sometimes, but something that has a clear structure with some kind of loose narrative from start to finish. It seems so up Gaga’s street to me, and you could say that all her albums could be described as concept albums one way or another, but I’d love it if she takes it a bit further Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

If she is starting her Vegas residency later this year then surely she wants to perform new material in the show. Hopefully we wont have to wait too much longer until we get a date for the new album. I think 2 is the perfect number of ballads. I want a few artistic bops like ARTPOP the song, i like songs of hers that you have to play a lot to get your head around the meaning of her lyrics. I know it seems very selfish to want from her only what she is mostly known for which is dance music. I'm one of the fans that was very here for her going ballads or a simple acoustic record but with Joanne and her recent projects, I feel like I would rather her go dance again. She can and has managed to inspire and send an important message through her dance songs and maybe even better than her ballads. I think she believes she has more to offer than her dance music. Which is true, but I think she is under-estimating the power her dance songs have made within her fans and the world in general. She said during Five Foot Two that that Italian girl from New York is the "gold".
