Rumors are spreading that Britney and her team plan on releasing (Drop Dead) Beautiful as a single from Femme Fatale and that she will perform in on X-Factor. I myself was rooting for that song to be released as the 4th single from Femme Fatale, but I still think that Up N' Down would of been a better choice. Regardless, I'm excited that the Femme Fatale era can restart again (and hopefully boost album sales to get the album past the 1 million mark, it's at 755K right now) and that Britney can have strong radio support after no radio airplay since September and October 2011. I'm a bit surprised though, since Criminal was released in October, this is the first time I see that singles from the same record are released a year apart :laughga:.

The worst thing about this is that Christina Aguilera will be releasing the lead single to her new record and performing it on The Voice around the same time, so expect some Britney vs. Christina stuff soon (Even though it's so 1999).

As of right now, we can expect the following major releases (singles) :

- Taylor Swift (Her new song premieres TODAY, August 13 and I believe will be for sale on itunes on Tuesday).

- Ke$ha

- The second single from P!nk's record (I expect it to be released soon since Blow Me seriously underperformed).

- Britney (Rumored, I expect a single anyways, whether it be new or not, her team would not less this opportunity pass).

- Lady Gaga (Late 2013, smart choice on her part since there will be no expected major releases then so she can EASILY dominate).

Hopefully Rihanna decides to STOP releasing this year, and avoid furthering the effects of her overexposure, the same goes for Katy Perry.

La Rosalia

Like Lana Del Rey. Marina and The Diamonds, Azalea Banks etc, most of Ke$ha's Animals are Monsters.

So she does have a significant amount, but they're not completely loyal.

This is an early comparison, she doesn't even have an album out yet and I'm sure she's going to be big here on the U.S. critics love her work.

The only thing saving that song is a VMA's performance.

It's not going #1 like the Barbz are claiming it will I know that.

Ikr! I'm so emotionally unstable now lol

Deep breaths...

BB Hot 100 calculations for the week based on all 7 days of itunes bars, current airplay and a streaming estimate7

#position, sales (000's) + airplay (A.I. millions) + streaming (20Ks) = points, artist, song, (change on Hot 100)

Only 6 points between top 4 places by this calculation - top 4 is too close to call.

Lights seems to be gaining airplay and streaming faster than Wide Awake which should give it an advantage vs the figures below CMM is rapidly losing airplay so my odds for #1 are Lights 33%, Wide Awake 28%, Whistle 24%, CMM 15%

#1 135 + 165 + 29 = 237 Katy Perry WA (+3)

#2 115 + 161 + 44 = 236 Ellie Goulding Lights (=)

#3 215 + 83 + 35 = 231 Flo Rida Whistle (=)

#3 154 + 126 + 41 = 231 Carly Rae Jepsen CMM (-3)

#5 99 + 152 + 36 = 212 Maroon 5 Payphone ft. Khalifa (=)

#6 66 + 123 + 38 = 171 Gotye STIUTK ft Kimbra (=)

#7 150 + 48 + 28 = 157 Fun. SN (+4)

#8 80 + 105 + 27 = 155 David Guetta + Sia Titanium (=)

#9 46 + 142 + 16 = 151 Rihanna WHYB (-2)

#10 215 + 14 + 5 = 149 Phillip Phillips Home (-1)

#11 107 + 91 + 10 = 145 P!nk BM1LK (-1)

#12 128 + 46 + 20 = 134 Justin Bieber ALAYLM (+3)

#13 121 + 55 + 15 = 131 Owl City + Carly Rae Jepsen GT (+1)

#14 114 + 54 + 18 = 129 Cher Lloyd WUB (-1)

#15 50 + 101 + 16 = 123 Usher Scream (-3)

#16 62 + 91 + 14 = 121 Demi Lovato GYHAB (+2)

#17 71 + 72 + 19 = 117 Neon Trees ET (+2)

#18 52 + 101 + 8 = 116 Calvin Harris Let's Go (-1)

#19 61 + 63 + 30 = 115 Kanye West Mercy (-3)

#20 129 + 37 + 5 = 113 Maroon 5 OMN (+10)

#21 54 + 65 + 24 = 106 One Direction WMYB (=)

#22 39 + 61 + 33 = 103 Fun. WAY ft. Monae (-2)

#23 90 + 54 + 5 = 102 Little Big Town Pontoon (=)

#24 44 + 59 + 26 = 97 Nicki Minaj Starships (-2)

#25 85 + 32 + 17 = 94 Alex Clare TooClose (-1)

*points = 62% x sales/K + 75% x Mediabase airplay (A.I. millions) + 5% x on demand streaming/K

averages at contributions 44% sales, 41.5% airplay, 14.5% streaming

Approx weekly sales for Gaga: PF 5.7K, TEOG 4.7K, JD 4.6K, Y+I 4.3K, BR 4.3K, BTW 4.3K.

Pink has changed :( I don't like the way she does promo now. Also, Blow Me is good but not great for me.

OMG the anxiety is killing me!! Only 1 point between Wide Awake and Lights????

Lights isn't gonna win. There's nothing Interscope is willing to do.

Let the other b---h have her day.

I wouldn't care as much if this wasn't Ellie's only chance to get a #1. The fact the b*tch discounted the song to snag an 8th #1 is so ridiculously greedy and selfish... And ruin a deserving artist's chance in the process.

I know I've repeated myself a few times, and I apologize, but it truly is bothering me :(

Yes, Lights will be devaluated. So will the new releases, like ALAYLM and PTA.
